180sx: Greddy Plenum, Top feed fuel system & Steering column bush
It also cleans up the bay a lot compared to the old crusty oem manifold. After a bit of finagling and spilt coolant I got the OEM top half off. Taped up the ports to give the area around a clean. Side quested and replaced the 28 year old rubber steering column bush with a GK Tech solid since there was room with the plenum off. Was still a bit of a pain to get all the bolts. At this point I didn't realise I'd need an adapter I didn't order for the stock FPR to clock it the correct direction if I were to retain stock fuel rail and side feeds so I just upgraded to a top feed rail and bosch 740cc injectors instead. I did braided lines too since I had it from an accidental order where I ordered everything AN8 and mounted up the FPR800 too. Crimed on new connectors and extended the wiring so I would be able to route the harness under the plenum. Unfortunately all the nicely braided section is hidden by the plenum oh well. Gave the throttlebody a little freshen up with some silver paint that doesn't remotely match the plenum. And we're on. There were a few modifications I had to do but I'll just upload photos of the manual if you're intersted in that since the manual isn't available online.
