180sx: Brakes

I kept my brake setup off the s14 because why not. They're R33 gtr brembos that I randomly picked up at upgarage one japan trip many years before covid pricing ruined everything.

The front setup is Remsa brake pads along with DBA T3 front rotors.

The rear is also running Remsa pads and just RDA blank rotors. For the drums I used the R33 gts-t drum assembly which came with project mu handbrake shoes.

I also used the GKTech S13/180SX TO Z32/GTST/GTR CONVERSION BRAIDED BRAKE LINE kit which I have no complaints with.

I used a BM57 (R33 GTR) and while getting ready to install it onto the 180 I noticed something interesting.

So the car had an ABS delete done by one of the previous owners and I noticed they ran the lines the wrong way out the BMC so the front port was feeding the rear brakes vice versa...

Lucikly I was able to rebend and reroute the lines without them breaking. In the future if the engine ever comes out I'll make new hardlines properly otherwise I might use the GKTECH ABS delete kit again if needed. I just prefer hardlines.

With everything fitted and the lines fixed I bled the system and the pedal feels firm. Won't know how it all feels until I get the car running again which I need to make a move on.
