Halfway hangs 2020
I entered Halfway Hangs as my first interstate drift event (not sure if Wilby counts being just over the NSW border?). It was also my first time towing and it was a 14 hour trip each way which was a big feat for me.
I'd used a FG XR6T Ute at the time to tow with which was alright. I felt a little claustraphobic being in a single cab for 14 hours though.

Ready to go! |
In NSW We stopped off somewhere in northen NSW for the night before we continued on the rest of the journey the next day |
Bumped into some other blokes heading up with some cool cars
After a few more hours we finally arrived at Valla Beach and unloaded so we could drive around
Spotted this very nice zenki |

Finally we were at Raleigh Raceway. Glad we trailered as the entrance was full of potholes

Out on track |
Some clips if you made it this far
And some more pics
I had a pretty fun day drifting at a new track. It's always refreshing to drift somewhere new. I also got to meet a lot of new faces who were super friendly.
End the day with a hearty parma |
Home time |
