Jen's R32

I recently got around to finally shooting Jen's R32 as she needed some photos done. It was a pretty last minute as I was popping past her place after coming back from Sandown to borrow something and I by chance had my camera in the car and remembered that we still had to do a shoot for it.

Sitting Frush
Funny story about this car is that I found it on carsales when I was looking for a new car and I had sent the link to Jen and Bry for the brief moment I contemplated owning a R32 when I wasn't having much luck finding a decent S14. A few days later I randomly got a call from them telling me to come outside and this thing was sitting in front of my house with them both smiling.

Front bar, lip & grill recently repaired and repainted by DT Panels
Jen and Bry also recently hand refurbished a set of Impul R1 themselves alongside with the help of her dad respraying the centers (I wish my dad would be this helpful when I do car related stuff instead of lecturing me about everything he deems defectable/stupid).

The car also features a genuine GTR kit alongside M-Spec skirts, roof wing and my favourite addition, the Rocket Dancer carbon fiber gurney flap.

Straight outta the 90's
So during the Primal Motorsports Winton skidpan day, the tired RB20 was starting to knock on the PowerFC more than a Jehovah's Witness. With the RB20 not longed for this world, a RB25 was acquired along with a brand new RB25 gearbox and a ORC 409D Clutch (I want one just for the sound).

Out with the old and soon to be in with the new

Shiny OEM brand new goodness!

After many hours and a few teething issues, The RB25 was in and running and a few weeks later it was taken to Chequered for a Tune. The car is still currently sporting the TD05 from the RB20 so response is plentiful however a new turbo is on the cards for when the current one dies. I must admit, after taking it for a drive it made me want to swap out the SR in my S14 haha!

Like a glove

No good battle station would be complete without a good seat and wheel and in this instance,  a genuine Bride Exas and Nardi classic fulfill the role here nicely. Peep the mad air freshener too!

Battle station go!
Overall the car has come a long way as it as it started off being a bit rough as expected for a 20ish year old Japanese import and has now turned into one of my favourite examples of a R32.
