Introduction

So for those who don't know me, my name's Andrew. I've decided to make a blog as an outlet to post my photos and to accompany it with some writing too (not as a serious thing though haha). Basically this is going to be filled with car related stuff, food, hangs, track days, travels etc. (Most of my photos can be found on my Flickr)

Anyways a quick bit more about me, basically I'm into cars, photography and food (honestly who isn't). I've been trying to push myself to photograph more since I'd been getting slack and figured a blog would be a good way to do this. Photography wise I use a Nikon D7000 and Tamron 17-50 f2.8 (bang for buck lens ftw) or my phone .

So since this blog will mostly be about cars I'll post mine below (current and past) lol.

S14 Kouki

I bought this red garage ornament money pit about a year ago after catching the bug for drifting after being taken in a mates car. I actually found it on eBay out of all places after a different red Kouki I was about to buy fell through. I actually wanted a Zenki initially but all that I could find were maroon nugget ones and this one popped up at a good price with some goodies which I couldn't say no to haha. So far I've only done a Primal Motorsports Winton skidpan/drift day in this car but I hope to do a lot more events in it next year! I'll do a separate post for this car sometime as I've got some goodies and progress coming for it after a half year slump of having no funds.

Impreza 2.5rs - R.I.P

This was my first car which now no longer looks anything like this photo and has a blown head gasket/busted motor haha. Been through numerous wheels, met a heap of great people with it and have had a few fun trips/times with it, most notably Showcased in 2013. The car ended up getting pushed to a daily when I bought my EP3R (and later on S14) and dad had to use it for awhile when his car was getting repaired for the same thing and would constantly complain to me how stupid it was (dad's huh).

So for awhile I was mainly focused on being all about that fitted life with the poobaru, then one day I attended a EXE haunted hills day and went passenger in a mates car. From there my eyes opened up to a totally fun and new experience that I wanted to be a part of. Funnily I was never really a Honda person but being on my P plates narrowed down my choices and I remembered one of my mates having a really nice EP3R. Anyways I jumped on carsales had a look at a few and ended up with this one and named it Donna (was watching suits at the time and had a thing for Donna - actually I still do). Anyways did a few Winton days in it and learnt a bit and then sold the car due to reasons.

 So since the Subaru has pretty much died, I was on the search for a new car for a daily and I also wanted to get back into tracking (grip) as well since I've sort of been missing it with seeing a bunch of my mates still go and crack into new PB's. I wanted something that I could daily as well as track and was P plate legal and figured what better than another Honda. I pick this up in two weeks and have already got some wheels on the way from japan haha. Its already got a few basic mods so I won't need too much to get it ready for track use. The first thing I'll probably do when I get it is crack out the polisher and spend a day on it because it has some pretty hectic swirls throughout the paint which I can't stand haha.

So yeah I'm hoping to keep this blog updated and take my camera out with me more, do more track and drift events, eat at some cool places and explore some cool places then hopefully find the effort to post it up on here
